This publication explores the human need to colonise Mars and questions the potential sacrifices it will demand of humanity. The publication is designed for those excited by the unknown and deeply invested in the future of humanity, far beyond their own lifespans. They embrace new technology, being excited by the prospects its presents, but also recognise the potential dangers. Next Stop Mars takes inspiration from the principles of the modernist movement, The New Typography, which revealed effective typographic approaches to communicating the challenges and risks of Mars colonisation.
